Repair of suitcase handles
In many cases, we can repair your suitcase handle. As often OEM parts are not available, we have been developing our own repair methods.
For example: We can manufacture plastic handles in 3D printing, straighten warped or dented rods or try to adapt commercially available parts.
Fixed or tilting handles
Our workshops can usually reattach fixed or folding suitcase handles that have become loose.
We have a limited supply of replacement parts for lost handles, and we can often reuse 2nd hand parts.
Telescopic (extendable) handle)
Even if replacement parts are not available for your suitcase, we can often repair the suitcase handle. We have developed a number of procedures to actually repair, and not just replacing complete telescopic unit:
- We can re-manufacture the actual handle, i.e. the plastic part that connects the two telescopic rods, using 3D printing. Of course, the locking mechanism remains functional. The plastic used is tough and elastic, and we generally incorporate steel reinforcement.
- Using a special tool we developed ourselves, we can remove dents from telescopic rods that can no longer be pulled out or pushed in,

- You (or we) can often make a stuck locking mechanism work again with machine oil sprayed into the holes in the locking pins.

Auch hier gilt: Wir arbeiten herstellerunabhängig, verfügen über keine OEM parts und bauen solche in der Regel nicht ein. Eine Angabe wie „Marke abc“ und „Typ xyz“ nützt uns also garnichts.
So können wir Teleskopgriffe nicht nur der bekannten Marken wie Stratic, Travelite, Titan, Samsonite, Premium Luggage, Check-in, Fabrizio, Ellehammer, Saxoline, oder National Geographic reparieren, sondern auch „no-name“-Produkte.
